My One Second Everyday video tradition is still going strong for the 4th year now! These personal One Second Everyday Videos were inspired by the Ted Talk by Cesar Kuriyama: One second everyday. In this Ted Talk, Kuriyama explains how visualization is the way to trigger memory and that seeing a one second snip-it of his day allows him to remember many other things he had done that day as well. With a poor memory myself, I wanted to capture my life moments to watch at the end of each year. It brings me so much joy to be able to reflect on my year visually. I plan on continuing to do this for as long as I can!
2018 was a year full of travel, love and food! I saw snow in Yosemite, ate pho in Vietnam, participated in my first Relay For Life, got my tonsils taken out, joined an amazing new gym with awesome motivating ladies, clinked glasses while toasting to ohana with my friends, said goodbye to some loved ones, went to the KP Excellence Awards and much, much more. Having both the good and bad recorded is a wonderful reflection on my entire year.
I have a feeling 2019 is going to be another great year overall! -L
